Seagrass Wall Art Idea

My husband and I took a trip to Chattanooga and Atlanta this past weekend and did quite a bit of shopping. I’m very fortunate to have a husband that is perfectly happy spending time running in all the home décor stores that I love to shop at. One of our favorites to go in is World Market (especially since the closest one to us is two hours away).

I was checking out these Seagrass rugs that I had seen my friend Annie from ZevyJoy use as a headboard (see below), isn’t she brilliant? I definitely bought one with intentions of using it in a similar way eventually!

As I was checking out the Seagrass rugs, I found a smaller round rug that reminded me a little of the Mandala that I had won from Salvage Dior which gave me the idea, why not use it as wall art? This rug makes the perfect wall art; it adds so much texture and is super affordable and large. They’re currently 50% off and I had a 15% off coupon because I’m a member of their rewards program which made this under $5 with tax!! YOU CANNOT BEAT THAT PRICE for something that large! I love that I can use it as a rug or wall art and it would be great to use indoor or outdoor in either way, there is just so many options!

Things I Love Thursday – World Market Wishlist

I seriously love World Market! They have such a unique style of home decor and have wonderful wine, what’s not to love, right? What I don’t love is the closest World Market is about 2 hours away…so World Market, hear my plea for a new store in Huntsville, Alabama!!

I’ve been eyeing several items lately that I have been swooning over and hope to have in my possession eventually! I could easily buy the whole store but these are at the top of my wish list! Unfortunately when you’re building a house you want everything for the new house but money is tight for obvious reasons. It’s really quite inconvenient!

So if anyone is feeling the urge to buy me anything, here is my wishlist! 😉

ABSOLUTELY LOVE this galvanized chicken wire holder. The galvanized and chicken wire look is right up my alley. I plan to use this in my craft room rather than to hold wine.  These wine holders are perfect for paint brushes and craft supplies. So not only do I love the look, it’s very practical. It also would be great for holding silverware during a dinner party!

I also love this Wood and metal 2-tier serving stand. It would be great for holding fruit in the kitchen and would also be handy for parties and events that you need a good neutral serving tray. I definitely think this would be a useful piece to have around!

I’ve been seriously debating getting this Wire 3-tier drying rack – These are very popular right now and being used as a mug tree. I thought this would look great next to the Keurig to display some cute mugs and make a cute little coffee station in the kitchen.

I also am in love with these industrial iron sphere decor I’m seeing everywhere and these are a really great price! These would be super cute on a entry way table or book shelf!
